Ashley Pollard

Paralegal

Ashley Pollard is a Paralegal at Norton Basu LLP where she assists with all aspects of the firm’s estate planning matters. Ashley graduated from Kaplan University, on the Dean’s List Honors, with an Associate’s degree of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. She is currently working to become a certified paralegal through the California Alliance of Paralegal Associations.

Prior to working for Norton Basu LLP, Ashley worked in a probate and estate planning law firm for three years and a business litigation firm for two years in the Ventura County Area. Ashley’s five years of experience, attention to detail, mutli-tasking abilities and strong work ethic allows her to successfully support the firm’s attorneys and clients in an efficient manner.

A native to Southern California, Ashley enjoys traveling with her family, photography and always looks for opportunities to learn and grow.

Victoria Cegla

Paralegal

Victoria Cegla is a Paralegal at Norton Basu LLP where she assists with all aspects of the firm’s probate and litigation matters. Victoria graduated from North Hennepin Community College with an AS in Paralegal Studies and has over 12 years of combined experience in trust and estate administration, estate planning, and estate litigation.

Victoria and her husband are originally from Minnesota and currently live in Arizona where they enjoy hiking, travelling, and taking classes together.

Marleta Charleson

Office Administrator

Marleta Charleson first joined the Norton Basu LLP Team in 2018. Marleta studied Business Administration in British Columbia, Canada and has extensive office assistant/administration experience. She has worked in small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profit organizations in The Bay Area.

Outside of the office, Marleta enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking and traveling. She is still an avid learner and often signs up for evening online classes to enhance her personal and professional life. She enjoys connecting with her roots and learning her native language with a group of people within her tribe, The Hesquiaht First Nation, via online classes.

She was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. She is an enrolled Tribal member of her nation. She has been living in the United States for over 17 years and intends on putting down roots eventually.
